Diana Cooney is a New York City makeup artist. Throughout her entire life she always had a strong passion for all things beauty. Diana was always fascinated by the artists in her family, specifically her brother, who inspires her to this day to create unique looks. From doing gymnastics as a child, to doing theater and cheerleading in her teen years, makeup and hair have always been prominent for her. At the age of 16, Diana began doing bridal parties and special event makeup which grew her love for the business even more. 

 

 This love and passion for makeup led her to attend Makeup Designory (MUD), completing the Master’s Program. It was during this intensive training that she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photo-shoots and designed a range of characters. She works currently with the purpose of creating looks that are beautiful, while also being individualized to each client. Her main goal is to create makeup that stands out and speaks to the viewer.

 

 Diana looks forward to expanding her artistry and creative work within this industry. She also looks forward to working with other creatives and creating beautiful work that inspires the viewer in the same way she’s been inspired by so many other artists.
